Big Bass Wheel

Inspired by the arcade classic “Big Bass Wheel,” I designed and built a miniature version from scratch. The project integrated mechanical drivetrain design, custom electronics, and embedded control to spin the wheel at visually pleasing and randomized increments. I modeled all mechanical components in Fusion360 and fabricated them using a combination of 3D printing and laser cutting.

The system is driven by a DC motor through a 2:1 sprocket pulley reduction ratio. A custom H-bridge PCB powers the motor driver stage. A KB2040 microcontroller handles timing and motion control, and I programmed the spin logic in MuEditor (C/C++ style code).
